Dolly

There was once on a far away house, 8 children who played with a marionette of rags.
Dolly they called her and she had a dress, made of bright green cotton and a hand for her legs
Old Tom, the wiseman would entertain, all of the children by using her
He'd tell nice long stories before they went to bed.
Yet in the morning, with the sun uo in the sky
the kid would want to play with the blond and blue-eyed
They decided to take their turns and enjoy
each one in their own way, this amazing toy.
The first one took Dolly and tryed to show her
How she grew her sunflowers, bad luck for her
She was planted next to them, and ravens soon came.
After came Tommy, who's passion was warms
and needind a thing to keep those inside
similar did the twins, of firey red hair
but instead of insects, burning matches they were
"Only half left" thought our mercyless doll,
Forcing a smile, wanting to give joy
But her fabric made body felt such tireness
Like she hadn't been aware that could exist.
The fith one made her up, but not with make up
She chose to steal some greedy amount of wine
(Wich the red-heads attempted to clean using amoniac)
On Jean's turn a willow was the choice
She felt rather cold, all night up there alone.
Don't be surprised Lean have to look for hours
To get to the decoy he'd play with just later
She filled Dolly with mud, then regreted it
And try to recover his precious brown cake
"This will just be the last one"
thought a hopeful her,
she didn't realize
Lily was learning how to cut.

Torn into pieces, sawn to mend some clothing
Dolly's pieces saw
How they'd got a new toy.

She cried, and creid, during endless nights
Until one precious day she was found by light
then tears turned to laughter, like you can't imagine
It was her fault of course, why'd she go ranting?
